Comic Inspired Post Effects
In March 2019 I attended a talk by Patrick O'Keefe, in which he showed a breakdown of the different effects that went into creating the iconic look of Into the Spider Verse. Since, I have been trying to recreate some of these effects using post processing. I have made two incarnations of a Ben-Day dot effect (one using quite a lot of colors, the other only using CMYK dots), a depth of field effect that uses chromatic aberration instead of blurring, and (inspired by mimicking old techniques like comic books) a technicolor post effect.
